Der Campingplatz Xeni Beach in der Nähe der antiken Festung Assini liegt in einer der schönsten Gegenden der Argolis. Den Platz gibt es seit 24 Jahren. Viele Camper kommen immer wieder gern hierher, weil sie die angenehme Atmosphäre unter schattigen Bäumen schätzen und nicht zuletzt, weil sie von Gina Fliga und der ganzen Familie, den Eigentümern des Platzes, herzlich aufgenommen werden.

The Camping Xeni Beach near the ancient fortress of Assini is situated in one of the nicest places of the Argolis. The Camping exists already 24 years. Many campers come here over and over again, because they estimate the pleasant atmosphere under shady trees and last but not least because of the heartly reception by Gina Fliga and the whole Family, the owners of the camping.

Der Campingplatz ist von April bis Oktober geöffnet. Er ist fast 7000 Quadratmeter groß, in Terrassen angelegt und bietet viel Schatten unter Weindächern und Olivenbäumen.

The camping is open from April until October. It is nearly 7000 square metres big, built in terraces and gives really a lot of shadow under vines and olive trees.

Eine kleine Snack-Bar bietet Getränke und griechische Spezialitäten an.

A little snack bar offers drinks and many greek specialties.

Auf vielfachen Wunsch gibt es einmal in der Woche einen griechischen Abend, bei dem die Gäste erleben und lernen können, wie man in Griechenland singt und tanzt.

By popular request there is once a week a greek evening. Here the guests can see and learn how Greece is singing and dancing.

Motive aus der griechischen Mythologie schmücken die Wände, wie überhaupt die Verbindung mit der Geschichte kaum enger sein kann. Schon Homer hat die Gegend in seinen Dichtungen erwähnt. Die antike Festung Assini ist nur wenige hundert Meter entfernt und ganz dicht am Camping befindet sich ein antikes Gräberfeld mit eindrucksvollen Kuppelgräbern.

Motifs from the greek mythology decorate the walls. Already Homer wrote in his poetry about Assini. Really is the connection with the history omnipresent. Only in a few hundreds meters distance is the ancient fortress Assini and on the other side is an ancient cemetery with a lot of impressive tholos tombs.

Eine Gruppe der Hibernia-Schule aus dem Ruhrgebiet in Deutschland war Anfang September 2001 auf dem Camping-Platz, und die jungen Leute haben sich richtig wohl gefühlt. Rufen Sie an oder mailen Sie. Gina erwartet Sie und reserviert Ihnen gern einen Platz auf dem Xeni Beach Camping.
