plane: airports Athens or Kalamata are possible. From Athens by bus or
rented car. Bus Nr. E 93 from the airport to the bus station "Kifissou".
From there are every hour from 6 a. m. until 8.30 p. m. buses to Nafplio,
Peloponnes. From Nafplio by bus or taxi. From Kalamata is the best to
rent a car, because there are very few buses to Nafplio. First you have
to go to Tripoli and from there are only four times a day buses to Nafplio.
By car from the Athens airport: follow the signs to Athens, later the "Attiki Odos" to Elefsina, from Elefsina to Korinthos. Here you can stop to see the famous Korinth-Canal. Leave the motorway at the Exit "Loutraki, Korinhtos A", pass the bridge over the canal, put the car on the parking right hand. Short stop for the big common stare into the deep groove! After follow the sign to "Epidavros" and return on the motorway. Leave the motorway at the exit "Ancient Nemea" and follow the signs direction Nafplio. By ship/car: from Italy (Venice, Triest, Ancona or Bari) to Patras. From Patras go into direction Athens. Near Korinthos don't leave the motorway, follow the green signs to "Tripoli". Leave the motorway at the exit "Ancient Nemea" and follow the signs to Nafplio. In Nafplio go into direction "Epidavros, Tolo" Later follow the sign to Tolo. Flughäfen Athen oder Kalamata möglich. Vom Flughafen Athen mit
Bus oder Mietwagen. Bus: zunächst den E 93 zum Busbahnhof an der
Kifissou-Straße nehmen. Von dort fahren stündlich von 6 bis
20.30 Uhr Busse nach Nafplio. Von Nafplio aus mit Bus oder Taxi nach Tolo.
Vom Flughafen Kalamata ist die beste Variante, einen Mietwagen zu nehmen,
weil es nur wenige Busverbindungen nach Nafplio gibt. Zunächst muss
man nach Tripoli fahren und von dort gibt es nur viermal täglich
Busse nach Nafplio. Mietwagen von Athen: Vom Flughafen zunächst Richtung Athen fahren, dann der Beschilderung "Elefsina" folgen, danach Richtung "Korinthos". Am Korinth-Kanal zum großen gemeinsamen Starren in die tiefe Rinne die Autobahn an der Ausfahrt "Loutraki, Korinthos A" verlassen, über die Kanalbrücke fahren, rechts parken. Danach weiter fahren, zunächst Richtung "Epidavros" links abbiegen. Nach ca. 400 m wieder auf die Autobahn auffahren, diese bis zur Ausfahrt "Ancient Nemea" fahren. Weiter s. u. Schiff/Auto von Italien (Venedig, Triest, Ancona oder Bari) nach Patras. Vom Hafen Patras zunächst Richtung Athen fahren. Vor Korinth nicht die Autobahn verlassen, sondern der grünen Beschilderung Richtung Tripoli folgen. Autobahn-Ausfahrt "Ancient Nemea" nehmen und von dort der Beschilderung "Nafplio" folgen.In Nafplio Richtung "Epidavros, Tolo" fahren. Nach ca. 2 km rechts abbiegen Richtung Tolo. Hinter dem Ort Assini an der Straßengabelung rechts Richtung Tolo. Siehe Karte rechts. |
